Trade and Industry Appeal Tribunal rules in favour of Slaughterhouse Nijmegen

Slaughterhouse Nijmegen has successfully challenged the ban imposed by the Dutch Food Authority (NVWA) to continue its slaughter activities due to recurring mistakes in the slaughter process at the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal (CBb). According to the CBb, it has not been proven that the slaughterhouse did not (sufficiently) ensure that the procedures that they had put in place based on the HACCP-principles were maintained.
