New name: Defares “competition & food safety”

The WhatsApp-fine of € 1,6 million for deleting messages on a smartphone during a dawn raid and the fine of over € 13 million for KPN, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Tele2 for unfair commercial practices, imposed by the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) demonstrates the increased attention of the ACM with respect to the provisions of competition. The recall-obligation on Offerman Vleeswaren of 400 different meat products equalling more than 300.000 kilos for Listeria, emphasises the main priority for the Food Authority, namely food safety.

This is what we do and what we have been doing for years. This is what we are good at.

Therefore, we have changed the name of our firm into: Defares “Competition and Food Safety”.
