Defares assists slaughterhouse with respect to suspension of the licence by the minister

After identifying alleged flaws in its slaughtering process, the minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality suspended the licence of a slaughterhouse in the Netherlands. The slaughterhouse in question contested this decision. Consequently it initiated interim relief proceedings before the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal (‘CBb’) purported to suspend the decision of the. The case has not been dealt with by the CBb since the minister decided to lift the contested decision before the oral pleadings.
