During this seminar, organized by the Dutch Association for Food Law (NVLR) on 17 July 2020 in the theater hall of the Amsterdam Public Library, the interesting theme of “Food law and science” was deliberated.
Introductions were presented by Sarah Arayess (Lawyer at Say Legal), Alie de Boer (Assistant professor at Maastricht University), Ardy van Helvoort, PhD (Director Research & Innovation Danone Nutricia Research / Associate professor Medical Nutrition and Metabolism in Disease Management) and prof. dr. ir. Jaap Seidell (Professor of Nutrition and Health at VU Amstedam) who approached this theme from different angles. Also in the context of Corona.
On Thursday 17 September 2020, Marieke Lugt (Lugt Food Law) and Ellis van Diermen (Precon Food Management) will pay close attention to the recently published Handbook of Labelling of the Netherlands Food Authority (NVWA).
